Na verdade, não foi um TEDx de
palavras, pelo contrário. Foi um TEDx de sabores vertidos em sentimentos, foi
de sons e imagens. Foi um TEDx de momentos inexplicáveis.
Começou com o som
melancolicamente agitado de João Gentil, um som que perturbou o silêncio que
atravessava a sala, fazendo o público desligar-se do sol que se sentia nesse
dia e levando-o a navegar por memórias.
Terminou com a TED Talk em jeito
de performance do grupo Roncos e Coriscos que bombardearam a audiência com
histórias do fantástico passado português vivido no presente. Fabuloso Portugal
que é uma mistura de culturas diversas e antagónicas. Somos um alegre paradoxo
de consensos.
Ao longo de toda uma tarde no
placo TEDx desfilaram ideias, projetos, percursos de vida, experiências felizes
e menos felizes, mas todas feitas e vividas por sobreviventes.
Rui Munhoz, alma viajante em
busca de inspiração permanente, já percorreu meio Mundo e de todas as viagens
da sua vida, transmitiu ao público que os bons e os maus acontecimentos
dependem somente da interpretação que lhes damos. Somos o que somos. Mas não
devemos ficar nem ser reféns de preconceitos e nunca apáticos mas sim
socialmente interventivos.
Jorge Mota fez juntamente com o
público uma viagem, pondo a descoberto, as verdadeiras emoções que se escondem
por detrás de palavras que mentem. Talvez por sermos incapazes de lidar com o
que verdadeiramente sentimos, usamos palavras que não correspondem às nossas
emoções. E a nossa memória vive de emoções e não de palavras.
Subiu ao palco André Faustino
para nos falar do ADN, a linguagem da vida. Investigador cientifico de
marcadores genéticos, procura respostas ao milagre da vida, a informação que passa
de pais para filhos e que origina um ser único e individual. A importância,
esforço e dedicação que a investigação cientifica exige só é possível ser
conduzida por alguém que acredita realmente naquilo que faz.
Somos Fado. O Fado não se
explica, sente-se. O Fado não se ensina, entende-se. Liliana Silva pisou o
palco TEDx para falar de uma identidade portuguesa que é a paixão da sua vida.
Este legado tão rico actual que temos do Fado já vem do século XIX, com uma
origem humilde, todas as classes o abraçaram e fizeram dele estilo de ver a
vida. Talvez seja o Fado um dos maiores mistérios da Alma Lusitana.
Nesta cidade portuguesa,
Cantanhede, um projeto de vanguarda é algo que faz parte da comunidade. O
Biocant. Investigação e evolução em prol de uma sociedade de qualidade. Carlos
Faro dedica a sua vida em busca de uma sociedade sustentável. Carlos Faro vive
e trabalha com os olhos postos no futuro. Mas se queremos ter uma sociedade
sustentável, com qualidade de vida, tal exige um melhor exercício de cidadania
por parte de todos os indivíduos. Oportunidades iguais, livres de preconceitos
e barreiras mentais.
Daniel Neves fez uma TED Talk de
esperança, construída por experiências difíceis e de muita luta, mas sempre de
esperança. Quebrando o tabu da gaguez, levando-o para um plano cientifico,
investigando-o de modo a ultrapassar ideias pré-concebidas associadas a
incapacidade intelectual. Se o importante não são as palavras, mas sim as
emoções, é urgente que a sociedade não discrimine quem não é falante em termos
de normalidade. Somos sentimento e não palavras.
Juan Daniel Domingues deslumbrou
a plateia ao explicar a evolução da sua pintura e a paixão que coloca em cada
quadro seu. Cada obra criada transmite a sua percepção, carrega parte de si,
deixando-se levar por todas as influências que habitam em si. A pintura, tal
como a vida, deve ser deixada fluir.
Voltando à ciência agora com a
oradora Sara Monteiro, uma TED Talk que transmitiu toda uma preocupação com o
futuro da Humanidade e o impacto da sua investigação cientifica para atenuar a
realidade aumento demográfico/menos terra arável. É necessário aumentar o
rendimento das terras que existem e das culturas que produzimos. Temos de saber
responder à questão: Onde queremos estar? Nós não herdamos a mundo dos nossos
pais, apenas o tomamos emprestado dos nossos filhos.
O TEDx revela paixões. E quando
essas paixões fazem mudar o modo como se vê o Mundo, essa mensagem tem de ser
partilhada. O orador Frederico Dinis encontrou na música electrónica a sua
filosofia de vida. Um percurso ao longo da sua vida que o levou a um palco TEDx
para dizer a uma audiência atenta que a música traduz diálogos sonoros e
visuais que dispensam palavras. Que não são precisas palavras para por as
mentes inquietas com o fascínio pelo conhecimento.
O último orador, Manuel Castelo
Branco, foi pertinente. Conduziu-nos através de uma reflexão incisiva sobre a
dicotomia Estado Neo-Liberal/Estado Social quanto à conceção antropológica e
sobre uma verdade: sem duvida, as escolas de economia, e porque a economia se
tornou ao longo dos tempos, numa ideologia, influenciam os governos;
tornaram-se em aparelhos ideológicos dos Estados. O ser humano acabou por se
converter num factor de produção e urge agirmos. É fundamental.
Numa tarde intensa com tantas
experiências, quando o final chegou as saudades já apertavam e a vontade de
novo TEDxCantanhede já brilhava nos olhares. Um sorriso final.

este TEDxCantanhede mais do que palavras, uma verdade acção.

More than Words
The Museu da Pedra hosted one TEDxCantanhede
that was beyond words .
Actually, it was not a TEDx words. Instead it
was a TEDx poured into feelings of flavors, pure sound and images.
It began with the sound of busy wistfully by
João Gentil , a sound that disturbed the silence across the room, making the
audience turn off the sun felt on that day and taking it to navigate through
memories.
Ended with the TED Talk and performance of the
band Roncos e Coriscos that bombed the audience with stories of the past lived
in this fantastic Portuguese land. Fab Portugal which is a mixture of various
and different cultures. We are a joyful paradox of consensus.
Throughout an entire afternoon full of ideas,
projects , patterns of life, happy and less happy experiences, but all done
and experienced by survivors.
Rui Munhoz, soul traveler in search of
permanent inspiration, has traveled half World and from all the voyages of his
life, conveyed to the public that the good and bad events depend only on the
interpretation we give them. We are what we are. But we should not be hostages
of prejudices and never apathetic but socially interventional .
Jorge Mota made along with the audience a
journey, uncovering the true emotions that are hidden behind words that lie.
Maybe because we're unable to deal with what we truly feel, we use words that do not correspond to our
emotions. And our memory lives on emotions, not on words.
André Faustino took the stage to speak about
DNA, the language of life. Scientific researcher of genetic markers, he seeks
answers to the miracle of life, the information that passes from parents to
children and that gives origin to a unique and individual being. The
importance, effort and dedication that scientific research requires can only be
conducted by someone who really believes in what he does.
We are Fado. Fado can not be explained, we must
feel it. Fado is not taught, it is understood. Liliana Silva stepped TEDx
stage to speak of a Portuguese identity that is the passion of her life. This
current legacy so rich that we have at Fado comes from the nineteenth century,
with a humble background, all classes embraced it and made him a life style.
Maybe Fado is one of the greatest mysteries of the Lusitanian Soul.
In this Portuguese city, Cantanhede, a vanguard
project is something that is part of the community. Biocant. Research and
development towards a society of quality. Carlos Faro dedicates his life in
search of a sustainable society. Carlos Faro lives and works with his eyes set
on the future. But if we want a sustainable society, quality of life, this
requires a better exercise of citizenship among all individuals. Equal
opportunity, free from prejudices and mental barriers.
Daniel Neves made a TED Talk of hope built
through hard experiences and a lot of struggle, but always hopeful. Breaking
the taboo of stuttering, taking it to a scientific plan, investigating it to
overcome preconceived ideas associated with intellectual disability. If the
words are not important, but rather the emotions, it is urgent that society
does not discriminate against anyone who is not speaking in terms of normality.
We are feeling and no words.
Juan Daniel Domingues dazzled the audience by
explaining the evolution of his painting and the passion he put into each frame
and painting. Each work created transmits his perception, bears part of
themselves, being carried away by all the influences that inhabit himself. The
painting, like life, should be allowed to flow.
Returning to science now with the speaker Sara
Monteiro a TED Talk that sent a whole care about the future of humanity and the
impact of scientific research to mitigate the demographic reality / less arable
land increased. It is necessary to increase the yield of the lands and cultures
that exist to produce. We need to know to answer the question: Where do we want
to be? We do not inherit the world from our parents, we just borrow it from our
children.
TEDx reveals passions. And when those passions
change the way we see the world, this message has to be shared. The speaker
Frederick Dinis found in electronic music his philosophy of life. A journey
throughout his life that led him to a TEDx stage to say to an attentive
audience that the music translates audible and visual dialogues that do not
require words. That are not accurate for words by the restless minds with the
fascination for knowledge.
The last speaker, Manuel Castelo Branco , was
relevant. He led us through an incisive reflection on the dichotomy Neo-Liberal
State/Social State as the anthropological conception and on a truth : without
doubt , schools of economics , and because the economy has become over time, an
ideology , influence governments ; they became ideological apparatuses of
states. The humans eventually become a production factor and urges to act. It
is essential .
After an intense afternoon with many
experiences, when the end came people were already missing it and the idea of
another TEDxCantanhede was shining in their eyes. A final smile.
