I was one that watched the live tv broadcast, what a day!

And I don't think the pics need a subtitle because the artists don't need introduction, if we didn't grew up with them, they are part of History so, their legacy is passed through generations.

I strongly believe that music unite people, cultures and countries. 

Maybe if people spend more time listening music, dancing, singing, going to shows, they would not spend time doing other stuff that hurt other people and living beings.

What a day, what a moment.

All together we can achieve incredible things and help others.

Live Aid foi um concerto de rock realizado em 13 de julho de 1985. O evento foi organizado por Bob Geldof e Midge Ure com o objetivo de arrecadar fundos para combater a fome na Etiópia. Os concertos foram realizados no Wembley Stadium em Londres (com uma plateia de aproximadamente 82 000 pessoas) e no John F. Kennedy Stadium em Filadélfia (aproximadamente 99,000 pessoas). Alguns artistas atuaram também em Sydney, Moscovo e Japão. Foi uma das maiores transmissões em larga escala por satélite e de televisão de todos os tempos—estima-se que 1,5 bilhão de espetadores, em mais de 100 países, tenham assistido à apresentação ao vivo.

O concerto foi concebido como a continuação de outro projeto de Geldof e Ure, a música "Do They Know It's Christmas?", gravado por vários artisitas britânicos e irlandeses sob o nome "Band Aid".

Quanto ao montante final arrecadado, superou em muito as expectativas iniciais de 1 milhão de libras: estima-se que tenha ultrapassado os 150 milhões de libras (aproximadamente 283,6 milhões de dólares). Em reconhecimento pelo seu trabalho, Bob Geldof seria posteriormente condecorado com a ordem de "Cavaleiro do Império Britânico".

Contemporary Visionary Art

The Vienna School of Fantastic Realism, first established in 1946, is considered to be an important technical and philosophical catalyst in its strong influence upon contemporary visionary art.

FARID RUEDA

Farid Rueda is a painter and street artist from Xochimilco, México. After studying at the Mexican National School for Visual Art Farid met the artist Seher and began his career in street art.

Farid uses his unique style of kaleidoscopic color to paint vibrant and detailed creatures of Mexican folklore while exploring themes of nature and spirituality.

MUGWORT 

  The name Mugwort derives from the plant Mugwort Artemisia, a herb used since ancient times to enhance lucid dreaming and astral projection.

 This artist explores a multitude of artistic approaches and mediums; from digital painting, illustration, large scale installations and live audio visual performance.

 Much of his gallery work is thematically centered on transformation, archetypal forces, shifting paradigms, animals and shamanic symbolism.

Nathalia Gallego (GLeo) was born and raised in Cali, Colombia and expresses her vision through colorful illustrations, oil paintings and murals in South America and Europe.

Her work blends the legends and worldview of Colombian culture in presenting masked magical beings expressing their essence through deep glances. ANDROID JONES

Lyons, Colorado born Independent Artist Android Jones began studying art at age 8. He attended the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota FL, where he trained in traditional academic drawing/painting and animation.

Best described as a “digital painter,” Jones has created an immense body of work. He has become well known for his many layered, psychedelic works and live performances using a custom built digital set up. 

At the center of Jones’ work is spirituality and altered states of consciousness. Describing his work as Electro-Mineralism, Jones attributes his ability to create to the wonders of technology, crediting the planet’s resources for advancements in art production. 

Manipulating light and energy, Android Jones captures complex concepts while utilizing his formal background in the arts. Described as a digital alchemist, he is determined to alter the viewer’s perception, pushing the boundaries of the imagination through the use of innovative media forms.

LUKE BROWN 

Luke Brown Spectraleyes is an intrepid explorer, part of a new generation of visionaries recontructing the templates of culture as we know it. His art speaks of the spiritual mysteries in the human imagination.

Mystical experiences, dreams, medicine journeys, and channelled lucid dialogues with the source of creativity itself, seem to guide and be guided by the colourful symmetries and living surfaces of his art. Much of his work emerges from a graceful synthesis of digital and painting mediums. Developing his work through mix and remix technologies, Luke is constantly redefining his style as a spiritual medium for growth.

Like A Rolling Stone #MickJagger

Falar de Mick Jagger significa recuar à minha infância e aos primeiros discos ouvidos, ainda muitas das vezes, sem perceber o inglês, mas em que as imagens e os sons captavam a minha atenção. 

Ou seja, Mick Jagger é muito mais do os vocais dos Rolling Stones, é toda uma presença em palco, uma imagem, uma mensagem de irreverência, de liberdade de expressão, de quebrar conceitos pré-concebidos numa sociedade tantas vezes redutora da criatividade que nos leva à evolução.

É fantástico continuar a contar com a presença de Jagger nos nossos dias já que outros já nos deixaram e que tanta falta fazem. Não posso deixar de pensar que se Lennon, Morrison, Cobain, Hendrix, ainda fossem vivos o quanto nos tinham influenciado e o quanto teríamos avançado. Eles fazem falta. Foram embora demasiado cedo, sem nos terem passado todo o legado que precisávamos pois ainda estávamos a crescer e a formar a nossa mente.

Por isso, muitos parabéns Sir Mick Jagger and keep it like a rolling stone!

Filho mais velho de um professor e de uma dona de casa, Jagger nasceu no dia 26 de julho de 1943 na pequena cidade de Dartford, Kent, no sudeste da Inglaterra, com o nome Michael Phillip Jagger. Aluno exemplar na infância e adolescência, ele sempre conquistou o carinho das pessoas por onde passou por seu carisma e estilo solto e bem humorado de ser.

Aos 14 anos, recebeu o seu primeiro violão e passou a colecionar discos de blues de nomes como Muddy Waters e Howlin´ Wolf. Entusiasmado com as possibilidades na música, juntou-se ao amigo Dick Taylor, que tocava baixo, para montar a sua primeira banda que se chamava Boy Blue and the Blue Boys, na qual era o vocalista.

Indo de encontro a toda a rebeldia que em breve levaria ao mundo ao lado dos Stones, Jagger entrou na London School of Economics para estudar Economia, em 1960. No entanto, enquanto estudava também investia na carreira musical - e, quando precisou escolher um caminho a seguir, não teve dúvida e largou o curso. Conheceu o guitarrista Keith Richards e os dois passaram a explorar a cena ainda emergente do blues na capital britânica.

Esta foi a génese dos Rolling Stones.
