I like a lot of sound, voice, video, is great to listen to while you drink a hot tea and work on your computer, all night long.
I like to prepare lessons and go through the various blogs that I see every day, at night, in quiet conversations, the sounds of people talking, just music, music that feeds the brain and creative ideas.
when istart my research and my study of Arabic, I easily become addicted to knowledge and is hard to stop.
sleep at least until I win completely.
I know, and a good night's sleep does wonders!
I can not forget, no doubt!

Este fenómeno terá tendência para se acentuar nas próximas décadas, e constitui já, na actualidade, um desafio em termos de segurança alimentar, sobretudo nas cidades do Sul. A Agricultura Urbana, a par de políticas adequadas e outras medidas de governação ao nível local, pode contribuir para a soberania alimentar, melhoria das condições de vida das franjas mais desfavorecidas da sociedade local e para a qualidade de vida e do ambiente da população urbana.

É possível uma limpeza esmerada e fácil utilizando meios simples e acessíveis. Basta apenas possuir o conhecimento.
Seguem algumas receitas:

AMBIENTADORES:
- Utilizar ervas aromáticas. Incenso, por exemplo.
- Uma caixa aberta com bicarbonato de sódio dentro.
- Vinagre ou baunilha num prato durante uma hora.
- Marinar azeite de pinheiro, cravo ou um pau de canela ou baunilha numa chávena de água durante cinco minutos.
- Um balde de água no meio de uma divisão absorve o fumo e maus cheiros depois de algumas horas.
- O bicarbonato de sódio ajuda a eliminar os cheiros de cafeteiras e dos recipientes de plástico para a comida.
-Ferve um pouco de água na panela de pressão com bastantes ervas aromáticas de perfume agradável, como por exemplo tomilho ou alecrim, ou com especiarias como baunilha ou noz moscada. A panela deve estar tapada. Deixe cozer até o perfume ter a intensidade que desejas.

AZULEJOS E CERÂMICA
Para limpar azulejos ou cerâmica utilizar vinagre diluído em água ou giz (variedade de carbonato de cálcio) em pó com água.

BRANQUEAR A ROUPA
Para as partes mais sujas da roupa branca pôr de molho em bicarbonato de sódio e água antes de lavar; para qualquer roupa, lavar com amoníaco; na bacia de enxaguar pôr meia chávena de vinagre,sumo de limão, bicarbonato de sódio ou bórax.
Para tingir a roupa de castanho deixar um tempo em água com cascas de nozes verdes.

CARPETES, TAPEÇARIAS
Espalhar bicarbonato de sódio ou farinha de milho. Esperar no mínimo um quarto de hora e passar o aspirador. Se for necessário tornar a repetir.

CASA DE BANHO, CHÃO E COZINHA
Esfregar com água e bicarbonato de sódio; com água quente e álcool; com água e bórax; ou com água quente (quatro litros) e vinagre branco (meio copo).
Para o chão de azulejos ou cimento lavar com água, secar e depois passar com azeite de linhaça.
Para as tampas sanitárias de plástico usar umas gotas de álcool para queimar.
Para as loiças da casa de banho usar uma escova com vinagre ou bicarbonato de sódio; pode-se limpar também com amoníaco; com uma mistura de sal e vinagre quente; ou esfregar com limão.

CRISTAIS
Para limpar cristais usar uma cebola cortada; limpar com papel de jornal.
Se se encontram opacos limpar com um pano de lã com um pouco de azeite.

DESINFECTANTES
Ferver durante aproximadamente meia hora, folhas e caules floridos de alecrim, alfazema, eucalipto, salva, tomilho, zimbro ou raiz de angélica. Usar o líquido para a limpeza de cozinhas, casa de banho, objectos. O chá de artemísia também é um bom desinfectante.

DESENTUPIDORES
Para evitar que os canos fiquem entupidos, pôr água a ferver uma vez por semana.
Se o cano estiver já entupido tapar o respirador (orifício superior da pia) com um pano e tentar com um desentupidor de borracha (ventosa). Pôr água a ferver pelo cano duas vezes por dia, depois meia chávena de bicarbonato de sódio e outra meia de vinagre quente.
Esperar uma hora e deixar a água quente a correr.

ESPELHOS
Para dar brilho aos espelhos limpar com um pano de lã embebido num pouco de azeite ou bicarbonato de sódio líquido. No último caso limpar depois com água e secar com uma toalha macia.

ESPONJAS
Quer sejam naturais ou sintéticas deixá-las um dia numa solução de 125 gramas de sal por litro de água. Espremê-las e deixar secar.

FARÓIS E ECRÃS
Esfregar com um pano ou esponja embebida em bicarbonato de sódio líquido. Depois limpar com água e secar com uma toalha macia.

FOGÕES
Limpar com papel de jornal faz com que fiquem mais brilhantes.

FORNOS
Nas manchas ainda recentes põe-se água e espalha-se bicarbonato de sódio; se são muito difíceis de sair pode colocar-se sal e limpar quando ficar frio.
Para cheiros persistentes deixar uma caixa aberta com bicarbonato de sódio, tirando-a antes de voltar a usar o forno.

GARRAFAS
Pôr dentro da garrafa um pouco de areia e papel de jornal cortado às tiras. Agitar bem. Se as manchas mais duras não saírem repetir a operação.

INOX
Limpar com uma pasta de bicarbonato de sódio e água. Para as torneiras usa-se umas gotas de álcool para queimar.

JANELAS
Limpar com água quente com um pouco de vinagre, álcool ou sumo de limão; duas ou três gotas de álcool para queimar num balde de água.
Nunca limpar quando bate o sol, pois ficam com brilho azulado. Podem secar-se com papel de jornal.

MANCHAS
É melhor tentar eliminá-las quando são recentes.
Se são de azeite ou gordura pôr pó talco ou giz (argila branca), deixar repousar um pouco e depois lavar.
Se são de vinho, pôr sal, deixar repousar e lavar com água fria; depois pode molhar-se com vinagre branco. Se são de transpiração, lavar com uma solução de água e sal; com vinagre ou uma pasta de bicarbonato de sódio e água.
Se são de tinta e recentes, pôr uma camada de sal e quando esta absorver a cor colocar outra camada de sal; o resto de tinta que persista sai com um pouco de álcool para queimar.
As marcas de caneta nas paredes pintadas ou nas de madeira saem com essência de vinagre.
O giz limpa também as manchas de fumo e de tabaco na porcelana e as de massa vidraceira nas janelas.
O vinagre impede que a roupa perca a cor, dá-lhe um aroma fresco, amacia os tecidos de lã e elimina as manchas de transpiração.

MÓVEIS
Para dar brilho aos móveis usar sumo de limão misturado com o dobro de azeite. Aplicar com um pano. Também se pode misturar três quartos de azeite e um quarto de vinagre, adicionando também água.
Para limpar misturar uma colher (chá) de aguarrás com três colheras (sopa) de azeite de linhaça e um litro de água. Agitar bem e deixar assentar.
Os círculos brancos saem bem com cinza e água.
Alguns riscos podem sair passando uma noz sem casca.
A nogalina, pó para diluir em água, dá um pigmento excelente para a madeira não tratada, e o azeite de linhaça é bom para conservar.
Para limpar as molduras de madeira passar uma cebola cortada.

OBJECTOS DE COBRE
Para limpar objectos de cobre, esfregar com uma cebola cortada, ou com uma pasta de sumo de limão, sal e farinha.

OBJECTOS DE METAL
Limpar com vinagre puro.

PANELAS COM COMIDA AGARRADA
Deixar em água quente com sal ou cinza ou ferver com água e vinagre

PINCÉIS
Pôr de molho em vinagre quente diluído (excepto os pincéis de esmalte).

PORCELANA
Esfregar com meio limão; com sal e vinagre quente; ou com bicarbonato de sódio e água.

PORTAS METÁLICAS
Aplicar uma camada de azeite de linhaça para evitar a oxidação.

PRATA
Pôr os objectos em 1,5 litro de água quente, uma colher de sal, uma colher (chá) de bicarbonato e um bocadinho de papel de alumínio.
Ferver dois ou três minutos e limpar com um pano.
Também se pode limpar com uma pasta de bicarbonato de sódio e água; ou com a pele de batata crua ou a água de ferver as batatas.

PRATOS E TALHERES
O limão e o vinagre tiram a gordura e deixam-nos brilhantes.

i think they were for sure the primary influence of my boho chic rock HIPPIE style -  a style i define a free mind: i like to make fashion fun, something happy, relax and original & creative.

everyone should wear the clothes that feel good in and make their style a personal statement of a way of thinking and living.

Here goes some pictures of the brillant day at TEDX Coimbra 2011.

Very good very interesting presentations on topics with particular focus on the area of volunteering, as we are in the European Year of Volunteering.

 At the same time resulted from a campaign to collect food that asked participants to bring food, as well as the general population could make their contribution to the reception.

Good organization and hospitality, for years there's more! Stay tuned!

B4profile was present again at the event, part of the organization.

Using the look was the most practical and cool I like: top, jeans, blazer, sandals, sunglasses and a big bag.

On October 15th people from all over the world will take to the streets and squares. From America to Asia, from Africa to Europe, people are rising up to claim their rights and demand a true democracy. Now it is time for all of us to join in a global non-violent protest.

The ruling powers work for the benefit of just a few, ignoring the will of the vast majority and the human and environmental price we all have to pay. This intolerable situation must end.

United in one voice, we will let politicians, and the financial elites they serve, know it is up to us the people to decide our future. We are not goods in the hands of politicians and bankers who do not represent us.

On October 15th, we will meet on the streets to initiate the global change we want. We will peacefully demonstrate, talk and organize until we make it happen.
It's time for us to unite. It's time for them to listen.

What To Do if You Spot Animal Abuse

If you think that an animal is being abused or neglected, it is important that you do something about it. Your involvement may be the animal’s only hope. 

Where to StartFirst, find out which agency is responsible for investigating and enforcing the anti-cruelty laws in your state, county, or town. This may be a local humane society or SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) or a taxpayer-funded animal shelter (animal control). In jurisdictions without a humane society or animal-management department, citizens can call upon the police or sheriff’s department to enforce the law.

If the animal victim is not in immediate need of rescue, check state and local animal-protection laws by visiting your local library or city hall or by conducting an online search. Print out a copy of any laws that you believe are being violated, and be ready to cite these laws to authorities. In most states, causing an animal “unnecessary suffering” is illegal. That term can include everything from beating an animal to depriving him or her of clean water, food, or shelter.

If the animal is in a life-threatening situation, call authorities immediately. Follow up with them in a timely manner to determine their findings and course of action. If they do not respond right away, call PETA.

Gathering EvidenceOnce you have determined which law-enforcement agency to contact (and ensured that the animal is not in imminent danger), provide authorities with a short, concise, factual, written statement, detailing the key points of what you have observed and giving dates, locations, and approximate times. Timely fact-gathering is crucial—the more time that passes, the greater the risk that specifics will be forgotten, witnesses will move, evidence will disappear, injuries will heal, etc. If you can, take pictures and date them; photographic or videotaped evidence fortifies your case, and short, factual, written statements from other witnesses will back up your observations.

Always keep a record of everyone you contact (official or otherwise), the dates of the contacts, and the content and outcome of your discussions. Never pass on a letter, photograph, or any documentation without first creating a copy for your file. Make it crystal clear to authorities that you wish to pursue this case and are willing to lend your assistance if necessary, and be sure to follow up! If you stay involved, they’re more likely to do the same.

Law-enforcement officials should inspect the animal visually, and if possible, conduct a hands-on field exam (referred to as “palpating” the animal) in order to find injuries or an otherwise unhealthy physical condition that may be obscured by the victim’s fur. Officials will often be fooled by a dog who “acts happy,” but manic or social behavior does not mean that the animal is safe; he or she may just be anxious to please or desperate for attention. A more thorough examination is necessary, and an injured or clearly endangered animal must not be left behind. The crime scene should also be thoroughly inspected for any indication that abuse has occurred. Suspects and neighbors (potential witnesses) should be interviewed. If the investigator agrees that your complaint has merit, a warning may be issued, charges filed, a warrant served, and/or the animal(s) removed.

Pursuing Your CasePersistence has saved countless animals from abusive people. If you are unable to get satisfaction from law-enforcement officers, go straight to their supervisors. If necessary, appeal to local government officials, such as the mayor, prosecutor, city council members, or county commissioners. A simple call to the media (TV and print) in your area can move mountains. News coverage often forces officials to act and can also scare the abuser into stopping the cruel behavior. News coverage may also inspire viewers who have seen similar acts to step forward and share their own accounts.

If you have personally witnessed an act of cruelty, you can go to your local magistrate or police commissioner and swear out a warrant to summon the abuser to court. Expert witnesses can be very helpful—a veterinarian, for example, can sign a statement that it is his or her “expert opinion” that a dog suffers if swung by a leash, deprived of food, etc. If you know a sympathetic veterinarian, seek his or her assistance, and let officials know that you have expert support.

Call PETA for HelpAdvocating for abused or neglected animals can be difficult and heart-wrenching, but they are depending on you to find the strength to take action. You are in the position to make all the difference in the world for the animals in your community. Please feel free to contact PETA if you need guidance or support, or if officials fail to respond quickly to your complaint.
